Doubling Point Sunset
This sunset really turned out to be a good one. I raced around, as usual, trying to figure out where I wanted to be. I almost drove up to Augusta, fearing the clouds would be too far north, but I doubled back once I saw them lining up about 20 miles inland as the sun got lower. I always like having some water in front of me when the sky blows up to capture some nice reflections. Capturing a sunset with a dark foreground just doesn't feel right to me. In this case I got very lucky with some calm water on the Kennebec to capture some great symmetrical reflections. Doubling Point is amazing.
