An incredible sunrise announces a new day at Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. Cirrus clouds from a storm to our south caught the sunlight and looked like they were radiating from the Nubble. I found a puddle and put the camera right in it to capture this perfectly still reflection. You can see a little bit of the texture of the granite beneath in the bottom of the frame. Right when I took this photo, a flock of birds passed overhead, and they are capturing with their flapping wings blurred because of the longer shutter speed to the upper right of the lighthouse. I love mornings like this!
