The Northern Presidential Range stretches out in front of the Great Gulf from the shoulder of Mount Washington this morning. It was a steep hike starting at 3 AM to get here. I have been wanting to see this view for myself ever since seeing images from photographic idols of mine like Jim Salge, Jerry Monkman, and Harry Lichtman. It was just as spectacular as I thought it would be, and the whole experience was made infinitely better because of the great group of folks who came up with me, Garrett Evans, Mark Jones, Tyler Kimbar, Chris Bennett and Chris Shane. I'm grateful for sharing this adventure with them! Be sure to watch their feeds because I'm sure they got some amazing images, especially from the undercast that came in just after sunrise.
