One of my favorite hikes in Acadia National Park, Bald Peak provides a great vantage point with a perfect view of Upper Hadlock Pond, Northeast Harbor, Greening Island, Southwest Harbor, and beyond. Fall is a great time to visit, when the blueberry bushes turn a vibrant red and look beautiful among the interesting granite formations that Acadia is well-known for. Some late sunset light didn't hurt on this occasion, either!
