An aerial perspective of the Cribworks Rapids in the Ripogenus Gorge on the West Branch of the Penobscot River just off the Golden Road near Millinocket provided an awesome view on a crisp fall morning. This is a famous class V whitewater paddling spot. You can see Mount Katahdin looming on the horizon to the left. The first light of day was just grazing the tops of the trees and lighting up the mist. It's amazing what these flying cameras can do! I think they were made for fall.
