The Wonder of Fire

I'm not trying to be clever when I say that this little part of the scene was way more compelling than the entirety of the vibrant sunrise over the water and lobster boats in the video I shared earlier. It struck a deep chord inside, reminding me of the wonder of fire, the antithesis of water, but both essential for life. It reminded me of the Greek god Hephaestus, with his mighty forge, summoning the forces of creation. The weathered siding and lobster traps added so much to this impression. I'm happy to have been there to witness it.
