Katahdin from Abol Bridge

I made a stop at this iconic spot while photographing fall foliage around Baxter State Park in September. The color in this maple tree, which I thought created a great foreground, was about peak, and there was beautiful warm sunrise colors in the sky above Katahdin, reflecting in the waters of the West Branch. Baxter is a special place and I can't wait to get back here in the winter.
