Wolfe's Neck Island
This photo is special because I was with my Mom, who was visiting from Mississippi, when I took it. We were enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon at one of our favorite places, Wolfe's Neck Woods in Freeport. The sun started to go down and I looked for a composition featuring the amazing rock formations on the shoreline here. Everything came together in this vertical composition that eliminated the surrounding land and highlighted the island just offshore with orange leafed oak trees.
