There are many beautiful places along the Coast of Maine. This has to be one of the finest, the great sandy and rocky headland of the Georgetown peninsula, Reid State Park. This particular spot has a sweeping view east across Sheepscot Bay. A small tidal inlet sweeps under a small bridge here, and the lagoon at low tide is a tangle of rocks, seaweed, and sand bars, the perfect place to explore.
