Driving back from our final sunset session on the last day of our New Hampshire workshop, I asked Kurt to turn the car around because something caught my eye. We were both exhausted and ready to relax, but I was pretty excited by what I had seen. Looking out across an old cowfield was this stunning view of the high peaks. To me, it looked like a Hudson River School painting in the soft twilight, with the rime-coated peak of Mount Adams rising prominently above a colorful palate of trees. I made a few exposures, this one 15 seconds because the light was so low, and came away pretty happy with the results. Kurt said that this would make a great winter scene, and I agree. I'll be back!
