Bug Light Park

One of my favorite parks in Maine is Bug Light Park in South Portland. There is an everyman quality to this little piece of heaven, overlooking the waterfront with stunning views of the city skyline. The centerpiece of the park is this little gem, built in 1875 in a beautiful Greek architectural style. At only 26 feet tall, the Portland Breakwater Light is affectionately called "Bug".
