Harvest

A couple of lobster boats worked in tamdem to spot and surround a school of Menhaden, also known as pogies, outside of Keene Narrows in Bremen. Pogies are used as lobster bait in traps and these folks were no doubt saving money doing it themselves. There were at least 8 people on the boats, working together, and to me it was a beautiful operation. I love capturing the unique way of life in our fishing communities.
