I didn’t have time to venture far this morning. After getting kids on the bus, I drove down onto the Dyer Neck Bridge to get a view looking back into Sheepscot village. The view from the bridge was fine, and it was awfully comfortable in my car, watching the thermometer hover at -11F. But, I knew I wanted to get a better foreground, and these marsh grasses, covered in ice crystals and backlit by the rising sun, looked pretty awesome. So, after trudging out through the snow and about freezing my hands off, I came back with this photo.
