I finally made it out to Seguin, a location I’ve wanted to visit since I first saw it from Popham Beach at age 16. The best part of the trip was the mode of transportation, an ocean kayak graciously provided by the incredibly gracious and kind Mark Jones. We were joined by some of the most adventurous paddling photographers in New England, Garrett Evans and Tyler Kimbar, along with Garrett’s wife. It was awesome paddling out of Popham past Pond Island Light and into the open ocean, with gently rolling swells and perfect weather to reach Seguin, just over 3 miles out. I could still feel the rolling motion of being in the kayak yesterday as I fell asleep on land. So cool! I’m grateful as ever that I’m able to do things like this, especially with great people. This was just a scouting trip. I can’t wait to come back for some more interesting weather!
