Little Red Car in the Old Port

I was photographing this street corner for a while, but wasn't really feeling that the images I was making conveyed the grandeur of being there. I waited and waited, and finally this little red car came down the street. At the time it felt a little lame, but after getting home, I realized that this image really did work.  The corner of Exchange Street and Fore Street in Portland's Old Port has some of the most beautiful historic architecture in the state of Maine. It's a great place to visit on a snowy day.
