One of the most captivating views of Orr's Island is from the rocks off the boat launch at Prince's Point.
From here you can look back up the shoreline of Harpswell Sound. The iconic structure of the old Prince building, one of the centers of the codfish trade in the 1800's, now the Salt Cod Cafe, rests against the water, its red paint making it an even better subject for photographers, painters, and other artists who frequent the area.
I captured this image after the sun set, casting a warm glow on the scene. Thanks for looking.
