Sea Monster

This was the wave of the day, and one of the biggest I've ever seen, crashing against Ram Island Ledge Lighthouse. The waves were getting a little bit smaller as the sun came out, but this monster came just in time. I loved seeing just the top of the lighthouse, which stands 72 feet from the base, as it was swallowed by the wall of water. It was great running into lots and lots of friends out there, all reveling in the wonder of the power of nature.
