One of the most distinctive and wonderful features of Acadia National Park are the series of stone bridges built for the carriage roads around the park. The first to be completed was the Cobblestone Bridge, in 1917. It is the only bridge in the park to feature these rounded cobbles instead of the more traditional cut stones in its construction, and this makes it my favorite one, especially with the beautiful Jordan Stream running underneath.
