Island Meditation

I set the alarm for an early start this morning, and then slept in after waking up and feeling extra tired after what has been a very challenging week. I woke up again an hour later, and peeked out the window to see if there was any fog. There was, so I got out of bed and went out. The sun was already coming up, so I knew I couldn't go far. I drove to North Bath, of all places, and walked through the woods to try and get down to the Kennebec and see what looked like some neat little islands on Google Maps. I may or may not have been trespassing, but I didn't see any signs, so I walked ahead. This was the view that greeted me! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. I love exploring, finding new things, and that can be hard to do when you've explored as much as I have.
